Trends in ICTLaajuus (5 ECTS)

Objective

On completion of the course students will have a good understanding about the current status of the ICT industry and the challenges the industry is facing. Students will also get a wide view on how various ICT services can be implemented.

Content

- Presentations from external representatives in the field of ICT covering new services, business models and other innovations effecting the overall ecosystem
- Presentations from students on selected ICT related topics
- Assignments given during the course

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The course is graded pass/fail. In order to pass the course the student must complete all given assigments and participate in at least 80% of the presentations.
