Objective
The student is familiar with key models of procurement development and knows how to choose the relevant models. S/he is familiar with management problems beyond her/his own organization and understands the requirements for and methods of improving this management area.
The student is able to identify key management methods of an expert organization. S/he knows the principles of efficient use of time, the significance of delegation and time tables, principles of outsourcing as well as the benefits of IT utilization.
The student is familiar with the principles of change management and is able to use proper tools in teamwork and key methods of performance management. The student has basic knowledge of the pay policy of a company, the wage structures in the industry, as well as of labour legislation in general.

- Different development models in procurement, such as demand based and supply based models
- Cooperation and networks; management of operations across organizations
- Efficient operations management: organizing and controlling, management of labour resources, managing finance, operations assessment, teamwork
- Management of development: proactive demand management, budgeting, lifecycle management, planning tools
- Performance management, motivation and reward
- Change management: preparation of change, communication, training
