Objective
The student will be familiar with the basic equipment needed in the electrical installations of one-family houses and be able to use them to plan a functional whole. The student will be able to calculate the fundamental power consumption of a building, size circuits and choose appropriate safety fittings. The student will be able to produce appropriate graphical and verbal documents for contract cost calculation and implementation.
Content
The planning and documentation of electrical equipment and commands in a residential building. Cables, conductors, devices and other installation equipment. Principles of protection in various installation conditions. The basis for choosing light fitting in residential spaces and the information content of electrical plan documents in contract cost calculation. The principles of describing electrical equipment, cables and sources of energy to calculate the relationships between voltage, current and power. Calculating connection capacity and choosing a connection cable.
