Objective

After completing this course the student will have overall knowledge how pipeworks are integrating different production systems. Expectation is that student understand how pipeworks are connected and what is their share in industrial investment projects.
The student should be able to plan and calculate different kind of pipelines and make their strength analysis. He should also be able to evaluate, which piping materials will be best suited to different purposes.

Content

Industrial pipe systems. Concepts, standards and public authority regulations. Pipe routing. Process technical calculations. Routing of pipework. Steam pipe lines, fire fighting systems, gas-, com-pound solution- and oil pipelines. Compressed air systems, hospital gases. Supporting of pipework and piping materials.
