Supervision, Acceptance and Handing overLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

The purpose of the course is to give the student an understanding of how supervision at the various stages of construction results in a building whose building services engineering systems agree with the original aims and plans. Construction project and basis for construction, preparations, contracting and contract documents, agreements, tasks and responsibilities of the parties, co-operation during construction, acceptance and its steps. The student will understand the importance of supervision and acceptance for the entire life cycle and use of a building, and will be familiar the connected documents.
The student will know the steps of supervision and acceptance, and will be able to perform the necessary supervision and documentation for single systems.

HVAC and electric planning and supervision of planning, preparations for construction, co-operation during construction, solving disagreements, ensuring use after construction.
