Objective

The student will be familiar with the principles, regulations and technical instructions of security systems in buildings. The student will be able to draw up technical plans related to security systems.

Content

Electrical locking and door automatics, working hour management and access control systems, alarm devices, video surveillance system, fire alarm system, assault system, gate driver system, control and surveillance systems of fire protection devices, market situation, standards regarding the systems, regulations and technical instructions, drawing symbols and documentation, planning and acquisition method, use and maintenance of systems, topical issues in security systems.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able to create the most common plan drawings of security systems and is able to repeat the tasks learned during the course. The student completes assignments satisfactorily.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to apply the learned knowledge and skills in new similar tasks. He or she completes assignments satisfactorily and on time.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to compare alternatives and give reasons for his or her choices. The assignments are completed independently and in a professional manner.
