Objective

The course will provide students with an understanding and knowledge to the main content of life cycle assessment including definition of a product system, data collection, inventory analysis and impact assessment.

After the course students can perform life cycle assessments independently and they understand the importance of the source of errors to the results of LCA.

Content

Definition of coals and the product system of life cycle assessment. Performance of inventory analysis and impact assessment. The critical analysis of LCA and conclusion making.

An operative character of life cycle assessment and computer software’s of LCA. The impacts of different characterization models. Different applications of LCA. Standards related on life cycle assessment.
