Objective

Business Game course is based on an on-line business simulation game that develops students’ understanding of the complexity of global business operations in a dynamic competitive environment. It integrates a range of concepts from various management-related disciplines, including economic, political, financial, accounting, procurement, production, logistics, research and innovation, and marketing. The task for the student teams is to manage a global mobile telecommunications company through technological evolution in the fast-paced 21st century operating environment. Students will develop and execute strategies for their simulated company operating in the USA, Asia, and Europe.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able to define targets to the simulation company and understands the basic economic factors for company success. The course report is accepted.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to define targets to the simulation company and understands the basic economic factors for company success and gets good results in the game. The course report is well done.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is capable to develop continuously operations of the simulation company during the course. He/she is active in presentations and team working. The course report is commendable.
