Objective

The student knows the basic principles of storage technology, storage area networks and backup systems. Student also knows the planning and implementation of storage systems in different production environments.

Content

The course covers the hard disks, redundant disk systems, storage systems, fiber channel systems, storage area networks, back up systems and managing of storage systems.

Basic understanding of computing and computer networks.
