Objective

The student knows most commonly used data structures and searching and sorting algorithms. The studentt is able to plan and implement algorithms and to evaluate a computational complexity of an algorithm using different methods.

Content

Abstract data types. Linear lists. A recursion. Trees. Hashing methods. Graphs. Sorting and searching. A complexity of algorithms (the order concept). An empirical evaluation of an algorithm.
