Global and local telecommunication networks and organisations. Switched or fixed connections, Transmission systems: PCM/ PDH, SDH. Switching technology: Software, hardware and dimensioning of switching systems. ISDN, ADSL, ATM, VoIP: Network ArchitecturePrinciples of data transmission. Mobile networks.
