Objective

The student understands the behaviour of concrete structures in service- and in ultimate limit state. He can calculate the width of a crack and the displacement of a reinforced concrete beam in flexure. He can design a reinforced concrete structure under compression and flexure taking also torsion into account. He can study local compression and splitting forces.
