Objective

The student will be familiar with the following topic areas: transportation planning and design as a part of urban land use planning; administration and legislation of the Finnish traffic system; the environmental impacts of traffic; road safety; public transportation and land use planning; pedestrian and bicycle traffic in urban areas; traffic network in town areas; car parking; street design.
