- solve common problems related to these fields of physics

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student:
- understands the basic concepts of electricity and magnetism
- understands the basics of oscillatory and wave motions
- is able to solve simple problems in these fields

Assessment criteria, good (3)

In addition to satisfactory criteria the student:
- can apply the concepts to analyze problems and is able to formulate and solve them mathematically

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

In addition to good criteria the student:
- has a clear understanding of the concepts and can apply these in various situations

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student:
- understands the basic concepts of electricity and magnetism
- understands the basics of oscillatory and wave motions
- is able to solve simple problems in these fields
