Objective

The aim of the studies in physics is to provide the engineering student and graduate engineers with the capabilities needed for understanding engineering applications, perceiving phenomena from a scientific point of view, understanding the existing technology and its applications, applying scientific thinking to solve problems and adopting new and changing information of technology.

The student becomes familiar with the physical exploration of mechanical phenomena and learns the necessary fundamentals for advanced professional studies. The student develops his/her studying and problem-solving skills required in learning of natural sciences. The student learns the analysis of motion in nature based on physical theories.

The student is able to understand and use the technical units system. The student knows the physical laws behind technology systems, and is able to present reasoned solutions to problems.
