Objective
The student learns about robotics through examples of biotechnology core laboratories and various types of high-throughput analyzers. The student becomes familiar with the operation of selected robots, plans the pipetting program and validation process. The student knows how to use robotics to automate laboratory operations.

1. The student knows what advantages / disadvantages the use of robots has in the certain sub-processes of biotechnology. S/he is familiar with a few examples of the robots and the activities they carry out.
2. The student knows what the advantage / disadvantage robotics is to automate the complete laboratory operations.

1. The student can explain the functional principles of a specific robot and now how to start it up
2. The student is familiar with different solutions for automation of laboratories

1. The student can independently plan the implementation process
