Objective
Students will be able to understand the main logistics functions and how companies can improve their competitiveness with help of effective logistics operations. Students will be able to analyze different logistics costs as well as to apply different methods and key performance indicators of the inventory management and control. Students will be able to compare the suitability of different transportation modes as well as delivery and payment terms in foreign trade.

• Inhouse logistics (materials management)
• Outbound logistics (packaging, distribution and transportation management, reverse logistics)
• International logistics and forwarding

Students have achieved the course objectives fairly. Students will be able to identify, define and use the course subject area’s concepts and models. The student understands the criteria and principles of the expertise development.

Students are able to define the course concepts and models and are able to justify the analysis. The student is able to apply their knowledge in leisure, study and work situations. The student understands the importance of expertise in the field of business and is able to analyze his/her own expertise.
