Objective

Students have a command of the technique required by the demanding repertoire, are able to participate as a soloist or an accompanist in different ensembles and to express themselves in an individual style, realizing the requirements set by self-criticism, good taste and sense of style. Students develop a clear idea of the job of a professional musician, are capable of creative musicianship, and gain the facilities for more advanced studies.

Content

- Advanced studies in the technical and interpretative issues of playing the guitar
- Improvised accompaniment, improvisation and practical exercises
- Exercises in adoption and interpretation skills, music reading exercises and sight-reading
- Stylistically varying repertoire of at least 48 pieces

Qualifications

Opetukseen osallistuminen sekä B-kurssitutkinnon suorittaminen.
