Objective

Students have a command of the technique required for the repertoire, are able to accompany from chord symbols and improvise based on the harmony and song structure, have the ability for rhythm section playing and can appropriately follow the playing of other members of the band. Students are able to prepare and rehearse a C-level repertoire for performance and become competent for major instrument B-level studies.
