Guitar Pedagogy 3-4Laajuus (6 ECTS)

Objective

Students have an extensive knowledge of the practical issues of teaching the guitar, are able to analyze and evaluate teaching material, know the special characteristics of contemporary music pedagogy and are able to apply them to the teaching of guitar. Furthermore, students become qualified to teach in education preparing for professional studies and become independent and creative teachers equipped to change with the times.

Qualifications

Student Teaching Placement 3-4 (3 cu. each) must be done simultaneously with the corresponding course in instrument pedagogy.
