Objective

The objective is that students gain the facilities to work as theory teachers in a music institute or equivalent school, and who are able to use different teaching methods creatively as required in different situations, to integrate the subject into educational and musical unities, gain the facilities for continual acquisition, development, and application of pedagogic knowledge and for the production of teaching material.

Content

- Advanced study of the objectives of teaching level-specific subjects, as well as their influence on the choice of teaching methods and material
- Detailed pedagogic examination of theory courses and the application of modern pedagogy, preparation of exercises in each subject, becoming familiar with teaching aids, teaching material, and the learning environment
- Producing your own teaching material
- Motivation and integration practice
- Preparation of lessons
- Introduction to examinations and their evaluation, preparation of examinations, observing teaching and learning, preparation of lesson plans, period plans and annual plans
- Prepared and unprepared teaching demonstrations
- Practical teacher training and feedback discussions
