Objective

An introduction to European cultural history. The student is familiar with his/her own country's musical spectrum and aims for an interdisciplinary approach in his/her own artistic and pedagogical development.

Content

History of Western music during the Baroque, the Wiener-Classical ages, the Romantic Age and the 20th century.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The assessment is based on the student’s work during the course, his/her skills and knowledge at the completion of the course, and his/her ability to reach the set objectives.
