Objective

On completion of the course:
- students will be able to play/ sing a repertoire of 10 tunes/ songs
- students will be able to work in a small band

Content

Students familiarize themselves with the main styles of Finnish traditional and modern dance music.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

A student:
• has participated in teaching
• has accomplished agreed assignments
• is able to work independently
- is able to improvise in musical style
- is able to interpretate rhythm in musical style
