Fundamentals of Camera Technique and EditingLaajuus (5 ECTS)

Objective

The students master the basic camera technique operations including settings, technical features and the basics of forming a cinematic picture.
The students are also familiar with narration, internal structures of the picture and the fundamentals of forming a series of images. They also comprehend both
expressive and technical basics of editing and are able to shoot and edit a series of images.

Content

The technical fundamentals of camera use, image formats, and equipment use. The fundamentals of editing technique and editing theory. Observing natural and prevailing light. Forming a series of images and the basics of image design. The movement and control of the visual and
acoustic material in the work process as a whole.
