Production and Working LifeLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

A compulsory production course which provides students with an understanding of the labour market in the audiovisual media field and of various employment opportunities and the rights and obligations of employers and employees. Students learn to place their goals and skills in production in the context of working life.

Content

Students will learn about different productions in audiovisual media and of different production cultures and opportunities for employment and employ after graduation. They learn about legislation concerning employers and employees, employment contracts and other commitments and conduct interviews to about attitudes and so-called tacit knowledge in working life. Students will also work on their private portfolios.
