Introduction to Drama 1Laajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

The compulsory writing course will provide students with the principles of dramaturgical thinking and classical drama. The course helps students to identify dramatic elements in film and other art forms. The course continues the dramatic process of formulation which began with writing fiction.

Differences and similarities between literature, drama text and film manuscripts.
Cinematic expression from the perspective of Aristotelian drama.
Dramaturgy as the language of drama and art.
