Objective

In the compulsory course in production students receive an orientation to the production of fiction film in the following category and familiarise themselves with relevant theory. They gain an understanding of managing and organising the production of fiction films and of managing production teams.

Content

Students familiarise themselves with analysing fiction film manuscripts for production purposes. They learn about the teams required to make a fiction film and the various duties within them. They also learn how the different needs of production teams are taken into account in scheduling and budgeting. In addition to professional skills, students will also learn about different approaches, practices and leadership cultures.
