Objective

A compulsory course in Visual Expression in which students learn the basics, practices and concepts of editing fiction.

Content

The course deals with basic aspects of editing such as planning and scheduling, materials management, dramaturgy from the editor's point of view at different stages of the editing process, editing dialogue and action scenes and other elements typical to fiction, the significance of sound and music and collaboration with the director and sound designer.
The basics of cinematic expression and visual design will be reviewed during the course.
