Introduction to Sound TechnologyLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

Students familiarise themselves with the history of sound reproduction and recording and their contemporary uses. Students familiarise themselves with the basic concepts of sound techniques and equipment and learn to do simple monophonic recordings in teams. Students gain basic resources for subjective assessment of sound and using hearing as a tool in quality control.
