Research Methodology and WritingLaajuus (5 ECTS)

Objective

Upon completion the student knows the methodological and communicational requirements for the Thesis process, also in an international context. The student is able to write a research plan, use sources and knows the laws of a writing process. He/she is familiar with argumentation and reasoning and the quantitative research. The student is able to choose relevant research methods for the problem and is able to write the abstract in English.

Basics of Thesis methodology and reporting as well as oral presentation

The student has partially achieved the objectives of the course. She/he has passed the course assignments.

The student has achieved the objectives of the course. She/he has passed the course assignments and has a good understanding of the covered topics.

The student has achieved the objectives of the course. She/he has passed the course assignments and has an extensive understanding of the covered topics.
