Basic Principles of DesignLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

After the course the student will understand the different stages of product planning process and the idea of a complete process (from idea to product). The student will master the ideation process and will be able to design products from different starting points for different target groups and using several design methods. (S)he will understand the principles of concept design and the industrial production process. The student will know how to apply theory into practical design projects and masters the professional presentation. The student will understand the importance of marketing and business for design processes.
