Objective

Students can give first aid and maintain security when needed. They understand that social pedagogical competence consists of a combination of scientific, expressive, communicative and productive skills merging into purposeful action. Students gain a comprehensive view of human development and key phenomena of group activities. Students learn to act within the social pedagogical framework and to support individuals and groups in their daily lives as individuals and members of society.

Content

Basic first aid, security and preparedness training of people of various ages (1.5 credits). Practical training in various work placements in the social field (7.5 credits). Applying basic socio-pedagogical skills and reflecting on one's own learning.
