Objective

Students learn to carry out quantitative research. They are able to analyse questionnaire material appropriately. They learn to interpret the results and evaluate their reliability. Students learn statistical inference methods in analysing research material. They learn to develop their field and work.

Content

Stages of statistical research. Reliability of a research. Sampling methods. Using descriptive statistical methods in reporting research results. Analysing methods in statistical research (testing of hypothesis, statistical correlation, and graphics). Statistical inference, drawing conclusions and reporting research results. Use of SPSS- program in handling statistical information.
