Objective

This course aims at giving the student a basic knowledge and skills in key molecular biology techniques.

Content

The course includes laboratory practicals and lectures on the methods used. The practicals of the course include basic molecular biology techniques, such as production and extraction of recombinant plasmids, usage of restriction enzymes, optimization of PCR reaction and in vitro transcription.
