Objective

Consolidation of skills achieved during previous work placement periods.
Students are capable of assessing muscle balance disorders of the eyes and of taking these into account when prescribing spectacles and selecting lens types. They know how to measure near vision and prescribe spectacles based on this.

Content

Practices and methods of eye examination, ophthalmoscopy, microscopy, keratometry, guidance in the use of contact lenses.
