Examining the Eye's Refractive Error and Anomalies of Binocular VisionLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

Students have the capabilities to examine vision in accordance with good eye examination practices. They are capable of assessing binocular vision and command the measurements and theoretical foundations of ocular alignment errors. They are capable of providing instructions for orthoptic treatments.
Students know how to measure colour vision and they have consolidated their competence in determining refractive errors, prescribing spectacles and assessing visual acuity, so as to be capable of working independently and giving statements relating to visual acuity.
