Statistical ResearchLaajuus (1 ECTS)

Objective

Student can apply statistical methods in quantitative research and handle a data with the statistical program. Student can select statistical methods to describe and analyze data, interpret and evaluate results and report the conclusions. Student can apply the methods knowledge in the Final Project and evaluation of the results of research reports.

Content

Management of the statistical program, handling new research data, needed theory, practical application of the statistical methods, quantitative reporting of the results and decision making.

Qualifications

Fundamentals and Methods of Reasearch and Development (ongoing and SPSS-workshops done).

The target group Health Care and Nursing students, who want to strengthen the skills of the statistical research, group size up to 25 students.
