Objective

The student will refresh and supplement his/her earlier mathematical skills to be able to apply them in later studies, concerning especially physics and medical treatment.
In physics, the objective is to acquire such a command of basic physics facts and skills so as to understand radiation physics and imaging techniques that radiographers are required to master.

Content

Mathematics: Basic calculations, plus and minus signs, fractions, decimals, percentage calculations, power, square root, unit conversions, linear equation and proportion, square equations, liquid calculations, function graphs, using the standard curve, logarithms, and exponent functions and equations.
Physics: Physics notation and elementary mechanics, thermology, electromagnetics, wave motion, electrical safety and radiation physics.
