Objective

Students command the most important basic calculations required in their own professional field and know how to apply them in their work. Students know how to use the most common statistical parameters and become capable of interpreting and evaluating statistical reports in laboratory work.

Content

Unit conversions, significance of figures, powers and square roots, linear equations and proportions, graphs and functions, logarithms, exponential functions.
Statistical indicators related to quality control and statistical reporting, interpretation and evaluation of statistical reports.
