Surgical Nursing
Objectives
Students gain competence in implementing surgical nursing in a client-orientated way. They are proficient in surgical patients safe basic care, drug treatment and pain management and are able to apply the principles of asepsis in a surgical setting. Furthermore, students deepen their competence in principal care methods of surgical nursing and develop their ability to recognise and evaluate malfunctions related to vital signs. Competence in supporting and caring for surgical patients deepens.

Medical Nursing - Clinical Practice 12 cr
Fundamentals of Drug Management 3 cr
