Postnatal Care - Clinical PracticeLaajuus (6 ECTS)

Objective

Students are well familiar with the Baby Friendly Programme and know how to apply its principles to practice when caring for the mother, newborn and family. They are able to provide patient education to the mother and her family in the care of the newborn and to support early interaction and breastfeeding. Students gain competence in midwifery skills regarding the mother and her family´s health as well as midwifery promoting empowerment.

Surgical Nursing - Clinical Practice 6 cr
Gynaecological Nursing - Clinical Practice 6 cr
