Objective

After completing the course the student will understand the common concepts of wide area networks: available technologies, services and framing types. The student gains an understanding of implementing address translation, access controls lists and DHCP-services.

Can configure address translations, access control lists and wide area network connections.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Can implement IP-connectivity of a wide area network, address translations and protect network segments with access control lists. Can design and implement an IP-network reaching multiple locations and perform troubleshooting of its functions.
