Objective

On completion of the course the student will be able to
- communicate appropriately and in a structured way in projects and group communication situations as an expert of his or her field
- apply the principles and textual conventions of Finnish academic communication to his or her final year project and to field-specific tasks
- use essential sources of information in his or her field proficiently.

Content

- conventions of academic communication for the final year project and for development tasks in the field
- communication and interaction in a project: oral project communication and the documents of a project, for example project plan, reports and bulletins
- consultations, meetings and negotiations and the related documents
- professional information literacy
