Objective

On completion of the course the student will be able to
- describe the contents of street and road classification and route design level by level
- describe and explain the geometry and parts of a street and a road
- describe the basics of machinery and equipment use and work organization of a street and road construction project
- design the structure of a route

Content

The administration and legislation of routes, levels of planning. Basic concepts in traffic technology. The technical basis for designing routes. The basics of street and road geometry. Taking the environment and landscape into account in traffic route planning. The contents of a street and road plan.
