Practical Training 2Laajuus (10 ECTS)

Objective

On completion of the practical training the student will be familiar with the tasks and duties of HVAC contractors, e.g. the ones of the supervisor of water and sewerage work and the supervisor of ventilation work.

Once the student has completed the practical training, he or she is able to work as an assistant to the site engineer on construction sites.

Content

During the practical training period the student will become familiar with building services engineering and the tasks in the field. With no previous experience from the field, the student can initially do manual labour, e.g. installations. A student with several years of experience of practical work is advised to seek tasks more similar to those available after graduation (supervisory tasks, bidding calculation, contract management).

During the practical training period the student will acquire in-depth knowledge of the various tasks in HVAC contracting and of the operations on a construction site.
