Construction Site ProjectLaajuus (4 ECTS)

Objective

The student will learn to work as a member of a project team, learn the tasks and responsibilities of the team members as well as the methods and reports of project work.

On completion of the course the student will be able to work as a project member and will be familiar with the various stages of construction site projects.

Content

The student will concentrate on a task that will deepen his or her professional expertise. The module is completed as a working life project or a specialised task performed for the university of applied sciences. The project is completed in cooperation with an enterprise.

The purpose of the course is to give the student an opportunity to apply all his or her studies to a wider practical assignment with numerous different tasks, performed for a real-life company.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is familiar with the stages of a construction site project and is able to work as a project member when instructed.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is familiar with the stages of a construction site project and is able to work as a project member independently.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to justify the significance of each stage of a construction site project and is able to work as an independent project member.
