Objective

On completion of the course the student will be able to describe the methods and stages of soil construction, along with the materials used. The student will be able to describe the principles of work planning and supervision in soil construction, and will be able to draw up a plan for soil construction. In addition, the student is able to describe the stages of excavation. He or she is able to consider issues related to safety and the environment in the planning and implementation of soil construction.
