Objective

On completion of the course the student will be able to
- describe the work plans of a rock construction site
- describe the risks, environmental effects and safety arrangements of rock construction
- describe the phases and methods of rock reinforcement and compaction
- describe the central regulations and authority permits related to rock construction
- draw up an action area plan and traffic arrangement plan of a rock construction site, and to carry out a neighbourhood survey
- draw up a risk analysis for a rock construction site
- draw up a safety plan

Content

Planning excavation work. Safety and environmental effects of an excavation site. Rock reinforcement and compaction. Regulations and permits regarding excavation.
