Objective

On completion of the course the student will be familiar with the equipment, piping and fittings for HVAC systems and be able to take the requirements of installation into account.

The student will be able to select appropriate equipment, piping and fittings for various purposes and reserve enough space for them.

Content

Technical properties, purpose and installation of equipment, piping and fittings for heating, water, sewer, air conditioning and refrigeration.

Sprinkler, gas, refrigeration, steam and compressed air systems. Space requirements, use of space, hauling.
