Objective
On completion of the course, the student knows the most important fundamental concepts of modern telecommunication. The student masters the terminology of telecommunications so that he or she is able to follow the development of the area and search additional information about it.

- Understands the concept of link budget and decibel

- Understands the process of speech digitalisation in PCM systems
